Cadet colleges have been providing a caring and innovative environment of teaching and learning since its first establishment in 1958. They constantly blaze new trails for the cadets to discover their potentials and create opportunities to flourish those in a competitive teaching and learning condition. Their mission is to enable the cadets to learn adaptability to any new surrounding, integrity at any cost, limitless bondage of friendship, virtues of leadership and excellence in whatever they do in their course of learning. A highly committed administrative and teaching staff, modern technologically equipped classrooms and other infrastructural facilities have greatly facilitated in improving their cognitive and physical excellence.
In cadet colleges, cadets are groomed to be all-rounders through their active participation in not only academic but also in various social, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. It is mentionable that in cadet colleges, it is a must for a cadet to participate at least in one stage and two games competitions. Cadets also render different social services what ultimately teach them the social responsibility resulting to their global remarkable settlement in every contributory sector. With the combination of the sense of social responsibility and other all-round qualities, cadets’ patriotism grows and culminates to an expected level which ultimately leads them to the direct services to the nation.
This is evident when we see its alumni have not only contributed enormously in the Bangladesh Armed Forces but also in the national mainstream. They have set themselves as glittering personalities in leading the military, judiciary, administration, business, health and where not. Many of its cadets have moved across frontiers and are now playing their roles at global level as scientists, architects, educationists and columnists. Its ex-cadet associations are also continually playing committed roles in building their alma mater and organizing various humanitarian programs to illustrate their obligation to nation.

I express my sincere gratefulness to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for the assistance and essential patronization for the dynamic existence of the colleges.
